We exist to help people to receive a deeper understanding of the Bible. We exist to guide individuals into a life of obedience to God’s commandments, following the teachings of Jesus above all, and avoiding man-made religious systems that distort His message. We believe that following Jesus leads us to true salvation through faith, obedience, the Holy Spirit, and good works.
Our church teaches the narrow gate, which means that Jesus’ teachings are the foundation of the faith. We strive to live by God’s commandments and to understand the Bible on a deeper level. We strive to walk in the Holy Spirit, and to perform good works as part of our salvation journey. We reject hierarchical structures that create inequality between men and women. Manmade hierarchies are against the word of God. As the Bible states, God values humble, obedient followers of God and of God’s commandments. This is the opposite of what the world teaches and values and Jesus says that “the last will be first, and the first last” — Matthew 20:16 and “blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth” — Matthew 5:5 and that “the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity” — Psalms 37:11. God values humility, love and kindness, while the world values people who exalt themselves and their own ego, often at the expense of other people. We choose to prioritize spiritual truth over worldly views, especially when it comes to the clarity of Jesus’ words.
Our mission is to lead people through the narrow gate by teaching and living out the words of Jesus, obeying God’s commandments, walking in the Holy Spirit, and bearing the good works Jesus Himself requires. We hold Jesus as the final authority in all Scripture, pursue spiritual truth over worldly religion, and call all people to faithful, obedient discipleship.
We exist to call people to the narrow way Jesus taught, which means a life that involves repentance, obedience to God’s commandments, and faithful action empowered by the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus’ words are the final authority when Scripture is misunderstood, that salvation is a lived commitment to doing the will of God, and that true discipleship is proven by fruit, not claims.
Our mission is biblically grounded and Gospel focused. It is clear, uncompromised and Jesus-centered.
